    Description

    Very striking 1.75” with maker Whitehead & Hoag back paper in use only 1900-1912. Pictured in coat and matching cap with insignia is Stephen Preston, Jr. Only example I know of. Essentially mint. One of the very few early fire service buttons explicitly designed for use in a campaign for elected office.
